Maria Miravalle is the Spiritual Director at Cornerstone of Hope, a Christian center for counseling and bereavement support for those grieving major loss and the traumatic deaths of loved ones. Previously having studied Theology, the spiritual life, and psychology, Maria spent 13 years in a contemplative monastic order, and obtained her spiritual direction certification from the Institute of Ministry Formation out of St. Vincent’s Archabbey in Latrobe, PA.
Drawn to reaching those who find themselves in desperate situations, she has over the last 20 years ministered in prisons, hospice, hospitals, and to homeless. Currently she gives spiritual direction to those impacted by tragedy who are trying to find God in the midst of personal crisis, and co-facilitates grief support groups in Independence, OH.
