Unsurprisingly, State Department Pushes Gender Ideology

US Secretary of State has decided to push for gender ideology, even at at time when global tensions are boiling over.

In the midst of wars throughout the world, and despite the recent killings of three American soldiers, Secretary of State Antony Blinken focused his ostensibly valuable time on inclusivity via gender ideology. “As ridiculous as this is, it’s also not surprising,” said Ruth Institute president Dr. Jennifer Roback Morse, Ph.D.

Blinken’s cable to State Department employees was titled “Modeling DEIA: Gender Identity Best Practices,” and aimed to “increase understanding of gender identity and provide guidance on gender identity language and best practices that support an inclusive work environment.”

“Hello? Our soldiers are being killed, but God-forbid any government employee is misgendered,” Morse said, noting Blinken’s instructions for State Department employees to list pronouns in their/his/her/zir email signatures and when introducing themselves.

“That the US State Department would take the time to instruct employees about the signature blocks of their emails and lecture them about inclusive language, shows that the Biden Administration takes this radical gender ideology very seriously.”

“The ‘woke’ undermining of US foreign policy is comparable to the ‘woke’ undermining of the US military, which was once the most powerful and feared military in the world. Many of our retired service members are appalled at the ‘transing’ of our armed forces. What must our enemies think of the US military now? Instead of feared, we’re becoming a farce.”

“This is the Sexual State at work: using the full power of the US government to promote a toxic ideology that no normal person wants. If any of this were natural and normal, the government wouldn’t be needed to shove it down people’s throats,” Morse said.

“This Trans movement did not just come out of nowhere. The drive to remove gendered language from law and social policy has been the end game of the committed Sexual Revolutionary for a long time.”

“It started with so-called gay marriage, which is really genderless marriage. The Ruth Institute said at the time that ‘gay marriage’ would require the removal of gendered words like mother and father, husband and wife, from wedding and birth certificates, and so it has. Now Blinken is making a point of telling everyone in the State Department to use ‘gender-neutral language whenever possible.’”

“Of course he emphasizes ‘spouse or partner,’ over ‘husband and wife,’ and ‘child’ over the hateful terms ‘son or daughter.’ But Blinken goes beyond this by warning against such egregious statements as ‘ladies and gentlemen,’ which should be replaced with ‘folks.’ ‘Brave men and women’ are now ‘brave soldiers,’ for instance.” “It seems Blinken’s State Department has made exporting Gender Ideology a major part of US foreign policy. This does not bode well for the strength of our country,” Morse concluded.
