Ruth Institute to Provide Trans Resources at Cleveland Right-to-Life

The Ruth Institute will have an exhibit at the Cleveland Right to Life Convention, “Bringing Life Back to America,” March 11-12, 2022, to provide resources for sidewalk counselors assisting the gender confused.

“Teen girls going to Planned Parenthood for hormones and surgery to try to become boys is a growing issue,” said Ruth Institute president Dr. Jennifer Roback Morse, Ph.D. “Sidewalk counselors have the information and knowledge to assist those seeking abortion, but how do they handle the increasing number of young women on the verge of getting life-altering hormones and surgeries they are likely to regret?”

“Our transgender brochure, ‘Your Pain Is Real,’ will succinctly let these girls know that they are not alone. Mutilating their bodies is not the answer to their pain and confusion. There is another way.”

“In addition, we will point people to our Transgender Resource Center, which contains a wealth of information helpful to those concerned about the spread of the transgender ideology. This resource center features video testimonies by Walt Heyer, who lived as a woman for eight years, and Erin Brewer, who tried to become a boy, hoping that no one would abuse her again.”

“So many young people are hurting, most often due to abuse. We want to spread the word that help is available. Since sidewalk counselors increasingly see this new brand of client walking into Planned Parenthood facilities, partnering with the pro-life movement is an excellent way to let the word out and spare these newest victims of the Sexual Revolution from doing lasting harm to themselves.”

“We’re always pleased to partner with the great work of the pro-life movement,” Morse said.

“In January, we exhibited at the Students for Life America Pro-Life Summit in Washington, D.C. Despite the challenges put upon them by the D. C. mayor, pro-life leaders and activists persisted,” Morse added. “You have to admire the pro-life crowd for never giving up! Sadly, our work is far from over.”

If you’re attending the Cleveland Right to Life Convention, come meet Orthodox priest and Ruth Institute Dr. J Show producer Fr. Mark Hodges, Marketing Director Matt Maddox, and Asst. Digital Manager Lucas Orsot.

At the 2020 Cleveland Right to Life Convention, Morse spoke on “Understanding and Combating the Sexual Revolution.” Ruth Inst. Senior Research Associate Fr. Paul Sullins delivered remarks on post-abortive psychological distress and clerical sex abuse.
