Loren Marks’ critique of the APA’s extreme claims of "no difference"

In case you are interested, here is the full study, critiquing the American
Psychological Association’s statement that “Not a single study has found children of lesbian or gay parents to be disadvantaged in any significant respect
relative to children of heterosexual parents.” He finds the studies the APA relied on to be flawed because of: “(1) non-representative sampling, (2) absence
of comparison groups, (3) comparison group characteristics, (4) contradictory data, (5) the limited scope of children’s outcomes studied, (6) paucity of
long-term outcome data, and (7) lack of statistical power.”(due to too few observations). Read it all yourself. It is more devastating than the Regnerus
study, in its own way. Marks shows how extreme the APA really was,  when it claimed “no difference” between same sex parents and others have ever
been found.
