Conservative institute hosts ‘Ex-Gay Visibility Day’: ‘Stories that deserve to be heard’

A Christian educational nonprofit on Sunday hosted an “Ex-Gay Visibility Day” to counter Pride Month festivities to be hosted nationwide this June.

“The gay lobby makes sure everyone knows Junes is ‘Pride Month,’ but they certainly won’t acknowledge the many people who have left the LGBT identity behind. That’s why the Ruth Institute is declaring the first Sunday of June to be Ex-Gay Visibility Day,” stated Jennifer Roback Morse, founder and president of the Ruth Institute, in a news release.

The institute is a nonprofit interfaith organization that refutes the tenets of the sexual revolution and advances testimonials and scientific studies upholding the traditional Christian values of marriage, family, and human sexuality.

Morse taught economics at Yale and George Mason universities for 15 years and is a former feminist professor turned traditional family activist.

In a video discussing Ex-Gay Visibility Day, she said there are many people who have turned away from LGBT lifestyle — “all with stories that deserve to be heard.”
