Action Items
- We need to see past stereotypes and see people. We need to see past stereotypes and, instead, see the image and likeness of God in each other. We should
stop supporting media, individuals, and organizations that create, encourage, and perpetuate racist stereotypes, or who propose violence as a solution.
Racist ideologies create images that leave negative impressions on susceptible and vulnerable minds and hearts, especially those of children. - Reach out with compassion to those of different races and hear their stories, respond with empathy, and work with humble, contrite hearts to build
bridges of understanding in order to acknowledge the unique gifts we all bring to the Body of Christ. - We need to understand how police officers are trained. Go on a ride-a-long.
