Cuomo Took Full Advantage of the Sexual Revolution’s Lies

After a decade in power, tomorrow will be New York Governor Andrew Cuomo’s last day in office. Ruth Institute President Dr. Jennifer Roback Morse, Ph.D. commented: “If nothing else, Cuomo was consistent. He loved the idea of a world without sexual restraints, an attitude reflected in both his public and private life.”

Eleven women charged that Cuomo (who said he was just being friendly) either harassed or sexually assaulted them. New York’s Attorney General, a fellow Democrat, did an exhaustive investigation which confirmed those charges. After the report, two more women came forward to level similar charges.

“It’s hard to imagine an issue on which Gov. Cuomo didn’t work hard to advance the agenda of the Sexual Revolution,” Morse said. “In 2011, he made New York the first large state to legalize homosexual ‘marriage.’ More recently, he signed the Gender Expression Non-Discrimination Act, adding ‘gender identity or expression’ to classes protected under New York Civil Rights law.”

Morse also noted that in January 2019, Cuomo signed a law codifying the ‘right’ to third trimester abortion and allowing those without a medical license to perform abortions, as well as erasing New York’s recognition of unborn children as potential homicide victims.

“The Sexual Revolution is all about sex without conditions, consequences, or a moral dimension,” Morse explained. “It’s a world without boundaries or limits. This is the way Cuomo behaved publicly in his political advocacy, and how he behaved privately in his execrable behavior toward women.

“One of the great lies of the Sexual Revolution is that it liberates women. Instead, it grooms them for predators like Cuomo and gives the predators a hunting license. There’s no excuse for the governor’s conduct, nor for the agenda of the Sexual Revolution, which he assiduously promoted.”
