The Ruth Institute announced that there are now a limited number of scholarships — some including travel — available for the Emerging Leaders Program at its 2022 Summit for Survivors of the Sexual Revolution, June 24-25 in Lake Charles, LA.
Ruth Institute President Dr. Jennifer Roback Morse, Ph.D., said: “The program is for young adults, ages 18 to 30, who are currently involved in the pro-life/pro-family cause and wish to become more effective in their work.”
Scholarships will cover:
- All registration fees for the two-day Summit, including the Friday evening banquet
- Conference meals
- Materials
- Accommodations (double-occupancy)
- Travel grants (in a limited number of cases to qualified individuals)
The deadline for scholarship applications is June 1.
The theme of this year’s Summit is Fighting for Your Family: Arming You for Success.
Topics to be covered include:
- Understanding the Sexual Revolution and the Sexual State
- Counting the Casualties of the Sexual Revolution
- The Medical Costs of the Sexual Revolution
- Demographic Winter: The Fateful Fall of Fertility Worldwide
- Defending Your Values Like a Pro
- Countering the Trans Ideology
- Learning from Past Lessons of the Pro-life Movement, and
- Charting a Course for the Future.
The keynote speaker at the Friday night banquet is Kristan Hawkins, president of Students for Life of America, one of the nation’s most effective pro-life organizations, which is training The Post-Roe Generation.
Morse explained: “The Emerging Leaders Program will help participants become effective advocates and strategists for life and the family. They’ll learn how to defend Judeo-Christian values in just 15 minutes, discover the danger of Demographic Winter, and come to understand the connection between abortion and gender-identity politics.”
“They’ll also have an opportunity to meet and be informed by leaders, scholars, authors and activists whose work is shaping the movement dedicated to life and the family,” Morse declared.
