“Thank heavens the Department of Energy finally fired Sam Brinton. It’s about time,” said Ruth Institute President Dr. Jennifer Roback Morse, Ph.D. “Pandering to the Alphabet Lobby is the only reason he was hired in the first place.”

The now former Deputy Asst. Secretary for Spent Fuel and Waste Disposition was caught on camera stealing luggage from two airport baggage claims: a Vera Bradley suitcase worth $2,325 from the Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport in September, and luggage containing $3,500 in jewelry and clothing from the Harry Reid Airport in Las Vegas in July.

In Minneapolis, cameras showed Brinton taking the bag and ripping off the name tag. When questioned by police, he first claimed that he didn’t take the bag and then said he took it by mistake. If convicted, he faces up to five years in prison and a $10,000 fine.

When Brinton was appointed to his government position in February, the Ruth Institute raised concerns about his character. As a “non-binary” activist, Brinton spoke internationally, claiming he had been tortured during talk therapy, which aims to address unwanted same-sex attraction.

Susan Constantine talks to Dr. Morse about Sam Brinton’s story of “conversion therapy.”

Susan Constantine, a body language expert and founder of the Human Behavior Lab, spoke about Brinton at the Ruth Institute’s 2021 Summit for Survivors of the Sexual Revolution, and on the Dr. J Show.

Constantine and her team used a three-pronged approach of statement analysis, voice stress analysis, and behavioral analysis. They concluded that Brinton showed numerous signs of being “highly deceptive.” Constantine also noted multiple instances of “duping delight”— when a person takes pleasure in successfully deceiving someone.

“Good riddance to Sam Brinton,” Morse said. “The public has no interest in privileging activists for the Sexual Revolution, especially those who lie and steal. The Biden administration has become a jobs program for otherwise unemployable ‘sexual minorities.’”
