Reclaiming Therapeutic Professions a Key Topic at Ruth Inst. Summit

How the therapeutic professions have become a handmaiden for the Sexual Revolution will highlight the Ruth Institute 2021 Summit, “Reclaiming the Professions for Life and Family,” July 16-17 in Lake Charles, LA.

“Therapy has become politicized. Therapists have turned from science to dogma,” said Ruth Institute President, Dr. Jennifer Roback Morse, Ph.D. “Is it
really out of the question for a person who once identified as ‘gay’ or ‘lesbian’ to choose a different identity or way of life?”

The session on “Reclaiming the Therapeutic Professions” will feature these experts:

Dr. Laura Haynes retired from psychological clinical practice after more
than 40 years. She now speaks and writes about same-sex attraction and discordant gender-sex identity change. She served on the board of the International Federation for Therapeutic and Counseling Choice and chaired a committee of the National Task Force for Therapy Equality. Dr. Haynes worked on research for the Alliance for Therapeutic Choice and Scientific Integrity and was a consultant for the American College of Pediatricians. She also served as president the
Christian Association for Psychological Studies, Western Region. She is a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and the American Psychological Association.

Susan Constantine, MPsy, has more than 17 years’ experience analyzing
jurors, witnesses, and suspects. She has consulted as the human behavior expert for some of the world’s most noteworthy trials, including George Floyd,
Michael Jackson, Bill Cosby, and Jerry Sandusky. She has appeared in over 1,000 national and international television programs such as CNN, Fox, Dateline
20/20, Dr. Phil, Dr. Drew, Discovery Channel, Good Morning America, and The Today Show. She has published in the Washington Post, Capitol Hill, New
York Times, and the New York Post. She has trained FBI and Homeland Security agents, The Department of Defense Inspector General, Federal Court Judicial
Law Judges and attorneys in hundreds of private law firms on how to read facial expressions, emotions, and body language, and how to detect deception
and emotional/cognitive processing. Her masterclass, “How to Spot a Liar in 7 Seconds or Less,” releases this month.

Fr. Paul Sullins, Ph.D., is a Senior Research Associate of the Ruth Institute.
He recently retired as a Professor of Sociology at the Catholic University of America in Washington, DC. Dr. Sullins is a leader in the field of research
on same-sex parenting and its implications for child development. He has written four books and over 100 journal articles, research reports, and essays
on issues of family, faith, and culture. His reports on clerical sexual abuse from the Pennsylvania Grand Jury data, John Jay data, LA Times, and other sources have garnered international acclaim.

“Is it impossible to believe a person who experiences same-sex attraction might not want to act on those feelings?” Morse asked. “Yet, to the
guardians of the therapeutic professions, this is the new taboo. If the Sexual Revolutionaries have their way, therapists will be legally forbidden
to assist clients who want to change. At the Summit, we will discuss the growing body of evidence that people can change their patterns of
attractions and behaviors.”

Attendance at the “Reclaiming the Professions for Life and Family” Summit can be
in person or on-line with a Virtual Conference Pass.

The Ruth Institute is a global non-profit organization, leading an international interfaith
coalition to defend the family and build a civilization of love.

Dr. Jennifer Roback Morse is the author of The Sexual State: How Elite Ideologies Are Destroying Lives and
