Pro-family Ruth Institute calls for celebration of people who have left Pride behind Millions of people have left Pride behind, and so has the U.S. Federal Government. White House spokesperson Karoline Leavitt announced in May that the Trump Administration would not recognize Pride Month. Google also dropped Pride Month from its calendar. In the wake of this movement, The Ruth Institute is calling on Americans to celebrate the millions who have turned their backs on Pride, encouraging others to do the same. “During the month of June, The Ruth Institute is celebrating those who have left Pride behind,” said Jennifer Roback Morse, Ph.D., founder and president of The Ruth Institute. “We encourage all who believe people are ‘born gay’ to look at the scientific evidence. According to our research, there are more ‘ex-gays’ than ‘gays!’ In the month ahead, we will share testimonies of many who journeyed away from an LGBT identity.” Dr. Morse and other experts are available to speak to the media about the shift away from celebrating Pride Month and the false idea that those with same-sex attraction have no choice but to embrace an LGBT identity. Watch Dr. Morse’s short introductory video for Leaving Pride Behind. THE RUTH INSTITUTE is an international, interfaith coalition to defend the family and build a civilization of love. The Institute equips people to understand, appreciate, and defend traditional Christian sexual ethics by providing scientifically sound evidence, carefully reasoned arguments, and compelling personal testimonies. |
