Ruth Inst. Promotes Reality, Opens Transgender Resource Center
“Our Transgender Resource Center is an invaluable tool for those opposed to
the transgender ideology,” said Ruth Institute President Dr. Jennifer Roback Morse, Ph.D.
“Transgenderism is a fraud. An individual can no more change his sex than his species. It’s imprinted in his DNA. A man born a man, and a woman born
a woman, will remain such until the end of his or her life. Neither surgery nor hormone therapy will change that,” Morse said.
The opening of the Transgender Resource Center comes on the eve of the “Transgender Day of Visibility,” March 31.
“I’m not sure ‘Resource Center’ adequately describes what’s available here,” Morse said. “There are stories such as Maritza’s, who lived as a female
to male transsexual for 17 years before detransitioning, as well as links to outspoken detransitioner, Walt Heyer, author of Trans Life Survivors.
“There are important interviews with doctors on the front lines, such as Dr. Michelle Cretella,
who has analyzed gender dysphoria in depth, and Dr. Andre Von Mol, who successfully challenged
the claim that surgery improved the mental health of gender dysphoric patients.
“Dr. Erin Brewer tells her story of being sexually assaulted as a child, deciding that being
a boy would keep her safe, and ultimately being protected from a lifetime of transgenderism by a sensitive therapist.
“We have resources for teachers and school administrators, such as the School Resource Guide from the Child and Parental Rights Campaign, and resources for parents, such as the Parent Resource Guide from the Minnesota Family Council.”
Morse added: “They’ll say we’re hateful for sharing these stories and providing these resources. But the transgender movement is doing irreparable
harm, especially to impressionable adolescents, and that’s the ultimate form of hate. The truth may be unpleasant – even painful – but it’s never
hateful. Denying reality is what causes the greatest harm in the long run.
“The significance of the transgender movement goes far beyond one piece of legislation, one nomination, or one day designated to celebrate transgenderism.
It’s a movement that seeks to upend reality. That’s why the Ruth Institute’s Transgender Resource Center is so timely and so crucial for those fighting gender dystopia.”
