Ruth Inst. Summit to Reclaim Medical Professions

Of all of the professions captured by the Sexual Revolution, the medical profession can do the most harm. At the Ruth Institute’s Survivors’ Summit, “Reclaiming the Professions for Life and Family,” July 16-17 in Lake Charles, LA,the Medical Professionals Panel
is of vital importance.

Ruth Inst. President Dr. Jennifer Roback Morse, Ph.D., explained, “Untold damage is being done by groups like the American Medical Association in advancing
the agenda of the Sexual Revolution.”

In June, the AMA said sex should be removed from birth certificates: “Designating sex on birth certificates as male or female… perpetuates the view that sex designation
is permanent and fails to recognize the medical spectrum of gender identity.” It also “risks stifling an individual’s self-expression and self-identification
and contributes to marginalization and minoritization.”

Morse responded: “The AMA is following non-science by endorsing the notion that sex is fluid and can change based on an individual’s whims. In reality,
the sex you were born with is the sex you’ll have for the rest of your life, regardless of what you choose to do to your body.”

The panel at the Survivors Summit consists of three distinguished physicians:

  • Dr. Michael S. Parker, MD, KM, is the System Medical Director for
OB/GYN at Hospitalists Mount Carmel in Columbus, Ohio. He is also President of the Catholic Medical Association.
He has spoken nationally and internationally on a variety of topics, including family planning, infertility, and the side effects of contraception.
  • Dr. Quentin Van Meter, MD, FCP, President of the American College of Pediatricians, has a long history of advocating for children in the American Academy of Pediatrics. He
is continually frustrated by the political bent of the National AAP, which is why he switched his affiliation to the ACPeds. Now he continues to
work for children and families without being hampered by political correctness.

“These physicians are eminently well-qualified to discuss the dangers of politically correct advocacy by medical associations on issues such as transgenderism,”
Morse said. “It’s high time for caring professionals grounded in the Hippocratic tradition to reclaim organizations such as the AMA and AAP.”

Attendance at the “Reclaiming the Professions for Life and Family” Summit can be in person or on-line with a Virtual Conference Pass.
Early Bird registration pricing ends today, July 6.

Queer Politics Means More Sexual State

Queer identity politics seems to have almost a contempt for the American way of settling disputes and resolving issues. The problem compounds when bureaucrats adopt the ideology of queer identity politics.
