The way to have fewer poor people is not to uplift the poor people, but to get rid of the poor people. Indirectly of course, by having them have fewer kids. This story has no references, so I can’t vouch for it. But, I’m saving the headline for future use. I’m sure an authentic story (or authenticatable story) will come in.
