Transitioning isn’t a cure. Hear the Whole Story

Detransitioner Maritza Cummings: What is it like to be born in the wrong body? Where did this phenomenon come from? I will explain my view point and lived experience that I’ve been through for the past 38 years. Listen This is an audio podcast of The Dr J Show. Full video episode is available here. First, I lived as a lesbian for 22 years, then I transitioned and lived as a male transsexual for an additional 17 years. I was born in Havana, Cuba. My mother was given a form of estrogen to prevent miscarriages. She was able to carry me to term, but not without ramifications. I dealt with all sorts of health issues ranging from asthma to reproductive female issues. I had a deeper voice, bad menses, and a slew of emotional and neurological instabilities. I was sexually molested from the age of 8 to the age of 12. I was socially awkward and did not fit in with other kids. I was mature for my age and preferred the company of adults over children in my age group. My parents were dysfunctional. My father was an abusive alcoholic and control freak, my mother was emotionally incapable of dealing with my demands –she was a very ill woman and was very spoiled by my grandmother. I truly believe that many of our childhood traumas come back to haunt us as adults. Many unresolved emotional issues show themselves in various faucets of disassociation and grief, to the point we create poor coping skills to mask the real pain. I believe same-sex attraction stems from rejection, sexual abuse, and/or a mother or a father wound. Former Lesbian Harmed by Sexual State

A few years ago, The Ruth Institute analyzed the case of Lisa Miller, who fled the country with her biological daughter, to protect the daughter from the alleged abuse of Lisa’s former partner. Lisa’s former partner used the power of the family courts to force Lisa to share custody with her, by redefining the "presumption of paternity" to the gender-neutral "presumption of parentage." Now Lisa Miller is back in the news – hoping to receive a presidential pardon.

DR J SHOW AUDIO: Removed Book! Talk with the Author of The Health Hazards of Homosexuality

Amazon banned this book, so we wanted to talk to the author and find out what was more important than the right to press. Brian Camenker has been the Director of Mass Resistance from its founding. A leading pro-family activist organization, MassResistance provides the information and guidance people need to confront assaults on the traditional family, school children, and the moral foundation of society. Based in Massachusetts, they have supporters and activists in all 50 states, Puerto Rico, and several foreign countries. Listen This is an audio podcast of The Dr J Show. Full video episode is available here. Brian Camenker has been interviewed by American Family Radio (with Sandy Rios, Janet Mefferd, Bryan Fischer, Charlie Butts), Michael Brown (Line of Fire), Cherilyn Bacon Eagar (Red State Talk Radio), RoadKill Radio (British Columbia), and dozens of other radio shows, TV stations, and newspapers around the world. The organization’s articles have appeared in American Thinker, Salvo Magazine, BarbWire, LifeSiteNews, The Massachusetts News, and The Jewish Advocate. In earlier years (when the mainstream media still reported on these issues) we were featured in the NBC Nightly News, CNN, CBS, ABC Evening News, MSNBC, National Public Radio, New York Times, and Fox News (O’Reilly Factor, Hannity &amp, Colmes, and America’s Newsroom with Megyn Kelly). More about MassResistance below the cut. MassResistance was founded in 1995 as Parents’ Rights Coalition. Since we were in the first state to see homosexual activism in the schools and “gay marriage,” we thoroughly understood the threat of sexual radicalism, curtailed freedom of speech, uneven application of the law, judicial activism, and post-constitutional government. We adopted the name MassResistance in 2006 when our role as the true resistance to tyrannical government became clear. Boston Herald columnist Howie Carr once described us as a “hardcore pro-family group.” We cover issues and events other conservative groups are afraid to touch. We don’t compromise with
