Child of Divorce

Children are resilient and can take care of themselves after their parents’ divorces.

ARE YOU A VICTIM OF THE SEXUAL REVOLUTION?

Dear Friend,

We have identified twelve categories of people who have been harmed by the Sexual Revolution. This questionnaire explores the Child of Divorce. Use this checklist to see if you are a Victim of the Sexual Revolution.

Our goal here is not merely to identify Victims. The goal is to help the Victims become Survivors, and the Survivors to become Activists for positive change.

Are You a Child of Divorce?

  • Were your parents married to each other when you were born?
  • Did they stay married during your childhood?
  • If not, did they marry someone else during your childhood?
  • Were you expected to have a relationship with your parents’ new love interest(s)?
  • Did you live in a shared custody situation that required you to move back and forth between homes on a regular basis?
  • Did your parents treat one another with respect?
  • Did your parents treat each other disrespectfully in front of you and your siblings?
  • Did you ever wonder, in your little mind, if you were to blame for your parents’ divorce?
  • Did you ever feel like a leftover, when your parent had a new baby with a new spouse?
  • Did you ever go to family court? Were you asked to testify against one of your parents? Were you ever asked to choose between your parents? Were you ever asked to perjure yourself by one parent against the other in family court?
  • Did your parents’ new love interests ever abuse you?
  • Do you feel that your situation as a Child of Divorce is socially invisible?
